I wrote this copywriting in both Chinese and english.

2/ in English

From the moment of an egg being laid, the calcium carbonate of the shell is re-absorbed into the bone of the developing chick over the next 24 days. The chick gradually gains strength until it is capable to break through the weakened shell.

As the chick abandons the broken shell, the former shell now takes on an invisible form: the bones that support the chick; the first ever support that was gifted by him (father) and her (mother).

One day the chick may create its own calcium carbonate-rich shell; to protect and support a beloved chick. The circle of calcium carbonate is completed.

3/ in English

The calcium carbonate stored in eggshells are broken down and routed directly to the shell gland via bloodstreams

It takes approximately 24 days for the hard outer covering to change during egg incubation, going from very hard and sturdy to much weaker right before the chick breaks free from the shell.

Perhaps it is a shell that takes on no form.

It could be you,

Home to the flesh and blood.

It could be him,

It could be her,

Holding you up from cradle to grave.

And so the cycle repeats.

One day you would become someone’s eggshell -

Protecting something so fragile and delicate,

Yet so close to your heart.

The calcium carbonate stored in eggshells is broken down and reabsorbed into the bone.

The protective covering changes during incubation:

from sturdy to brittle right before the chick gains strength to break free from the shell.

The shell later onmg takes on an invisible form.

It could be you,

Home to your flesh and blood.

It could be him,

It could be her,

It could be the first ever support gifted by them,

Holding you up from cradle to grave.

And so the cycle repeats.

Perhaps one day part of you would transform into a shell -

Protecting something so fragile and delicate,

Yet so close to your heart.
