I went to the laser cut workshop at CSM, but they could only print for one hour at a time. The technician informed me that if I wanted to print my entire book, it would take at least 300 hours, which is around 12.5 whole days if I didn't sleep or eat, haha. So, I had almost given up.
Then, by chance, I found a laser cut workshop in East London (next to London City Airport), and I brought my materials there to see if it was really feasible. They have 3 laser cut machines.

I need to print 9 A2-sized pages per book, and I discovered that each page of laser cutting takes 3-4 hours, regardless of the level of detail. The workshop is only open from 10 am to 5 pm with a one-hour lunch break, so there are only 5 hours available for printing each day. It would take around 7 days (omggggggg) to print one book. However, the workshop has allowed me to use two laser cutting machines at the same time, so the process may be a bit faster than I initially thought. It really take a really long time , BUT at least it work.

Following is some of the test with my printing. I really like the result, but I still try with different power to laser cut the paper, to show or not show that much of the burn mask.

And when I take the pics of the paper simple, I found that the iPhone can realise the laser cited word is still words. which I m surprise.

The following pictures is showing the paper was cut with a higher laser power, resulting in a completely different texture. While a more pronounced burn may enhance the characteristics of the work, it would also compromise the delicate feel that I wanted to achieve. Therefore, I decided to stick to my original idea and create a version with less noticeable printing marks.
