What have I learned about the topic concerned from this not having worked well for me?
Although some of the work I working is not really worked well, I think failure is the mother of success. Why we have to record the development? One of the reason is let other people can receive correct opinion from my failure. It can make my artwork and their artwork a big improvement.
I learned that if I keep trying, I will always come up with an answer. In fact, when I watched many scientific reports on eggs and hens, I found that many scientific reports of later generations also overturned the scientific reports of predecessors, just like a persistent scientific report. a continuation of the trial, and then each wrote a different answer and integrated a closest answer
What do I plan to do differently in future as a result of my answers to the above questions?
Nothing venture, nothing gain. Where there is a will, there is a way. So I will just keep working hard and see more other people sharing of how to make things work.
With hindsight, how would I go about this activity differently if doing it again from scratch?
With hindsight, I will not do the tummy project and do more research about the UV print, as it waste a lot of time, but I also think the tummy project is part of the experiment for the project.
What did I find the greatest challenge in doing this work? Why was this a challenge to me?
The biggest challenge for me is to understanding what a Fine Art project need. There is no topic, no standard, no scope, everything can be decided by myself, I am like in a maze, slammed into the wall at a loss.
At the same time, creating a sculpture art work is also a big problem for me. I don't have much experience in sculpture art works, so I must understand the overall creative process. The previous works are all photographic works and graphic designs. The art of photography is the result of mechanical work, and photography is a more flexible form of artistic expression. As long as a photographer has mastered the correct photography skills, the photographic works that can convey a certain message and the photographer's thoughts and feelings are good works. Photography is naturally inseparable from the accumulation of aesthetics and experience, but whether the level of photography is good or not will not affect the recording of what we want to record.
Photography and painting both express three-dimensional three-dimensional on a two-dimensional plane, but sculpture is different... Sculpture requires a full range of three-dimensional concepts. Sculpture is much more difficult than photography, but sculpture has high requirements on the shaping ability and hands-on ability of the shaper. It requires strong abstract thinking and presents the shadow in the mind with actual material. Sculpture also needs to be revised repeatedly, and must have the artist's unique personality expression, as well as the interpretation of thoughts and feelings.
What was the most boring or tedious part of doing this particular task for me?
The most boring or tedious part must be making wooden eggs, because I made 54 eggs in total, and the first 10 or so were made for 4 hours, but then practice makes perfect, and other friends helped to make them together, so I made the production time. shortened a lot.
But there's one thing that turned me off at the time with wood and eggs.
