TITLE CHINESE WHISPERS
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
I am interested in the science of human behavior(Praxeology). Praxeology is defined as "any response or reaction of an individual to the environment", which can be divided into external activities, such as speech, expression, movement, and behavior, and internal mental processes, such as thoughts, ideas, concepts, and attitudes. With current technology, what can be measured and quantified are all external activities that can be observed, and these can be divided into physical, mental, emotional, and social behaviors. According to economist Mises, a "human being who acts" is defined as a person who is capable of logical thought, and all human behavior is a prediction of the future, because all conscious actions of human beings are aimed at increasing their own happiness and satisfaction.

Objective - To understand whether it is a good thing for other people (including scholars and the general public) to discuss gossip ideas, such as whether gossip can make friends? Is gossiping annoying? Does gossip have a positive effect on strengthening social bonds between people?
Aims 2 Produce work that explores, captures, and origin of gossip and why the history of gossip and how anthropologists look at gossip in anthropology.
Objective - To create a three-dimensional work that satirizes the existence of gossip
Objective - Define the difference between gossip and concern
Objective - To make a Chinese style work
Context
Historical Background. When I was a kid I played a game called "CHINESE WHISPERS", the implication of which was that human-to-human communication was largely inaccurate and that information was lost and misinterpreted in the process of transmission.
The name of the game Chinese whispers has some discriminatory meaning, but why this game is related to China, whisper means whispering and whispering. The Westerners could not understand the Chinese language, so they felt very mysterious. They felt that Chinese people were secretive and inscrutable.
In Robin Dunbar book Grooming, Gossip, and the Evolution of Language, Robin Dunbar argues that the origins of gossip can be traced to social grooming among apes, the act of grooming each other's hair. When language replaced grooming 70,000 years ago, our desire to gossip was born.
Frank McAndrew, a psychologist at Knox College, also said, "We are the descendants of people who are good at this." So, gossip is not a product of pop culture, it has been around for ages. The ancestors of the Stone Age survived in the form of tribes, which on the one hand had to cooperate with each other and go out hunting to defend themselves against foreign enemies; on the other hand, there was competition for power among tribal members. In the cruel survival environment to ensure survival and one of the means of the Great War is "gossip", to master the information of peers and enemies, so as to better fight against unknown risks, access to resources.
Theory bibliography
Methodology.
I plan to write down my most relevant findings from library databases and the Google Scholar search engine. I would like to use human behavior science to identify the reasons why people gossip, so as to know what psychological reasons there are for human behavior to explain.
Research - I have been observing and reading those about gossip, both historical and modern social culture, and have also collected gossip from different people using questionnaires.
Outcome
I want to make an eight-panel wall hanging because it corresponds to the Chinese word for "gossip". The Chinese word "gossip" comes from the old days when teahouses used to post gossip on the outside walls of teahouses in the shape of gossip to attract customers.
I would choose to paint in black and white, just like saying right and wrong in black and white. Black and white represent right and wrong.

WORK PLAN
1. Understand and research
2. Brainstorm for ideas
3. Make a plan for the research
4. Start working
