Although I am not a fan of Yoshitomo Nara, I have an open mind about any art. But I am open-minded to any art. Why is he famous? How did he become one of the most important Japanese artists in the world today? And the most expensive Japanese artist on the auction market!

I like his warm and kind heart more than his creative work. His genuine and heartfelt creative ideas. He is a Japanese uncle who heals people's hearts through his creations!

"Hazy Wet Day": Yoshitomo Nara's most authentic self

This large work, 220cm x 195cm, was completed in just 10 days!

This painting is the most authentic version of himself as described by Yoshitomo Nara.

"It's my best work now, my true standard, my most authentic self".

P.S. It is said that Nara-sensei sees her paintings as alive, and when she has to leave for a while during the creation process, she will tell the girl in the painting that she has to leave for a while.

"Loneliness and alienation are the driving force behind my work. This famous confession is from the heart of Yoshitomo Nara. This famous inner confession by Yoshitomo Nara tells how he created his melancholy, healing girl, which has become a worldwide hit.

His parents had to work outside the home, and his two older brothers were both a bit older than him, making him the first generation of 'key children in Japan, with more freedom than children of his age.

He learnt early on how to live with himself and enjoys the creativity that solitude brings to him. In solitude, he just needs to focus on himself, look within himself and introspect, and simply create what he wants to create.

He confessed, "I feel lonely, and music and animals are a comfort in an interview. He is better at communicating with himself than with people, and his work is the product of Nara's communication with his own mind.

________________________________________________

Much of Yoshitomo Nara's artwork is about himself, his moods, and his feelings, and I want my work to be completely about me and find traces of art in my life. And to accept my imperfections with grace. I also want my works to be completely about myself, find traces of art in my life, accept my imperfections with grace, and present this original and real self in my works. Through this, I can observe my own transformation, slowly accepting my different states and imperfections, and find myself being more forgiving to those around me.

Everyone has an ideal self in their mind, and according to this image, they may unknowingly raise their expectations, have a few spots on their face, and may not feel beautiful enough, but these external conditions cannot necessarily be improved through behaviour.
